Dealing with a customer cancellation

Hardly four weeks ago, I went over to the north side of the neighborhood to give a shopper an estimate for an up-to-date overheated water heater, and the shopper was interested in the replacement of an up-to-date tankless overheated water heater.

  • Tankless overheated water oil heating systems offer on-demand heating without the waste of gallons of water every day.

Tankless water oil heating systems are a bit more fancy than a traditional water heater, but they are also incredibly energy efficient as well as last a long time. The shopper called me and others a couple of days after I gave her the estimate. She selected myself and others to complete the task as well as she tied up the task for the following week, then I was supposed to complete the task on Tuesday. I ordered the tankless water gas furnace on Tuesday morning from the distributor. After lunch on Tuesday, I earned a cell phone call from the shopper that ordered the tankless water heater. She called to cancel the work. She gave herself and others no explanation or reason for canceling the work. I have to be honest. I was a little frustrated that the shopper called to cancel as well as she waited until the last hour. I cannot return the tankless water gas furnace to the store without paying a restocking fee. I am stuck with a $1,000 tankless water heater. I thought about upgrading the water gas furnace in our own home, but the gas furnace works just as well as it doesn’t make any sense to get rid of a machine that is still genuinely working perfectly. I’d rather pay the small fee to send it back to the store.

My customer called to cancel the job at the absolute last minute

A few weeks ago, I went over to the north side of town to give a customer another quote for a new sizzling water heater.

The customer was interested in the installation of a new tankless sizzling water heater. Tankless sizzling water heating systems offer on-demand heating without the waste of gallons of water every day. Tankless water heating systems are a bit more expensive than a traditional water heater, but they are incredibly energy efficient as well as last a long time. The customer called me and others a couple of nights after I gave her the estimate… She’s selected myself and others to complete the task as well as she is busy with the job for the following week. I was supposed to complete the task on Sunday. I ordered the tankless water gas furnace on Saturday afternoon from the distributor… After supper on Saturday, I received an iPhone call from the customer that ordered the tankless water heater. She called to cancel the job. She gave herself and others no explanation or reason for canceling the job. I have to be honest. I was a little frustrated that the customer called to cancel as well as she waited until the last hour. I can’t return the tankless water gas furnace to the store without paying a restocking fee. I’m stuck with a $1,000 tankless water heater. I thought about upgrading the water gas furnace in our own home, but the gas furnace works just superb as well and it doesn’t make any sense to get rid of a unit that is still working perfectly. I’d rather pay the small fee to send it back to the store.

My customer called in to cancel the job

A few weeks ago, I went over to the north side of the neighborhood to give a purchaser an estimate for a new hot water heater, and the purchaser was interested in the installation of a new tankless hot water heater.

  • Tankless hot water gas furnaces offer on-demand heating separate from the waste of gallons of water every day.

Tankless water gas furnaces are a bit more overpriced than a traditional water heater, however they are incredibly energy efficient and last a long time. The purchaser called myself and others a couple of afternoons after I gave him the estimate! She’s selected myself and others to complete the work and he tied up the task for the following week; I was supposed to complete the work on Sunday. I ordered the tankless water gas furnace on Monday day from the distributor. After dinner on Monday, I earned a PC call from the purchaser that ordered the tankless water heater. She called to cancel the task. She gave myself and others no explanation or reason for calling and canceling the task. I have to be honest. I was a little aggravated that the purchaser called to cancel and he waited until the last hour. I cannot return the tankless water gas furnace to the store separate from paying a restocking fee. I’m stuck with a $1,000 tankless water heater. I thought about upgrading the water gas furnace in my own home, however the gas furnace works just fine and it does not make any sense to get rid of equipment that is still entirely working perfectly. I’d rather spend the small fee to send it back to the store.

The customer canceled the job at the very last minute

Not that many weeks ago, I went over to the north side of the neighborhood to give a buyer a quote for a new hot water heater, however the buyer was interested in the installation of a new tankless hot water heater.

Tankless hot water heating systems offer on-demand heating without the waste of gallons of water every morning. Tankless water heating systems are a bit more lavish than a traditional water heater, but they are incredibly energy efficient and last a long time as well. The buyer called myself and others a couple of nights after I gave her the estimate! She’s selected myself and others to complete the work and she scheduled the task for the following week. I was supposed to complete the work on Monday. I ordered the tankless water furnace on Sunday morning from the central distributor… After supper on Sunday, I put in a phone call from the buyer that ordered the tankless water heater. She called to cancel the task. She gave myself and others no explanation or reason for canceling the task. I have to be totally honest. I was a little frustrated that the buyer called to cancel and she waited until the last hour. I can’t return the tankless water furnace to the store without paying a restocking fee. I am stuck with a $1,000 tankless water heater. What training methods work for you?

Physical fitness doesn’t have to be torture, you just have to figure out what works for you.

The problem with getting into shape is that everyone has an opinion about it. If you talk to a hundred different people, you will get a hundred different contradictory pieces of advice. I have learned to test things out for yourself, see what works, and disregard what your friends, neighbors, and relatives tell you. My morbidly obese Aunt Ethyl always tells me to stop exercising so much, because it’s bad for my joints. Hers is one of the hundred opinions I disregard! One day I will find a personal trainer to work with me, because I know it is very important to consult with experts. The problem is that right now I don’t know enough about my own wellness and fitness levels to know a good opinion from a bad one! In order to know if a personal trainer will be helpful to me, I need a basis of knowledge about myself. Once I know more about my own training methods, I will have a basis of comparison to work with. So far I have learned quite a lot about my own body and what kind of training methods don’t work for me. My joints, especially my ankles, are too weak for running or jogging of any kind, even when I use a treadmill. My training methods need to be lower-impact on my body, so next I will be trying yoga classes to see how they feel. I will let you know what I find out!

Cannabis and yoga make for a winning combination

I can’t say what will work for you, but for me cannabis helped me find the path to physical fitness. For many years I was an avid pot smoker, and was content to sit on the couch watching TV and playing video games. I was a bit of a mess, and was not in good shape by any means. Then I met a wonderful girl, also a pothead, but with a different focus than sitting on the couch. She was super into yoga, and specifically a version of it that used cannabis as part of the workout routine. She called it holistic health, and combined her love of yoga with her love of getting high into one transcendent form of health and wellness. Jenna is so amazing because she got me following health plans without me realizing it! We go to her private yoga studio, which is really a spare bedroom that she remodeled. We sit on yoga mats and smoke some very kind, very potent cannabis, and then we close our eyes and meditate. Slowly we go through a series of long, deep yoga poses and stretches, always without eyes closed. We are not just getting stoned and we are not just doing yoga, we are laser-focused on one another, giving the experience a tantric quality. This may not sound like a workout to you, but after a solid 60 to 75 minutes doing intense yoga poses, it sure feels like a workout! We have been doing yoga several times a week, and I have never felt closer to her.

Using the gym to stave off the effects of aging

Whoever discovers a way to give adults the same metabolism possessed by children will be the richest person alive.

I have three kids, and they consume an insane amount of food and remain rail-thin.

If I eat three oreos I somehow put on two pounds, which shouldn’t be possible. This is the curse of being middle aged, and having that kind of metabolism. There comes a point in life when a switch is flipped, and you go from never putting on a pound, to constantly putting on weight. I went from someone who never went to the gym once in his life, to someone who goes to the gym five days a week. I have set up a very nice pattern for myself, with a modified workout program to try and stave off the horrors of aging! I do yoga classes two days a week, and quite frankly the yoga serves as the backbone for my entire program. Yoga gives me the core strength and flexibility to use in every other aspect of my physical fitness. One day a week I do light weight training, just enough to keep me growing more core strength, but I’m not interested in developing big muscles. I tried cross fit for a few weeks, and although I liked the intensity it wasn’t a good fit for my personality. I am a quiet person, which perhaps is why yoga works so well for me, because it combines exercise and meditation into one total package. Until they find a cure for aging, this is the best I can do!

Buying my neighbor’s gym equipment

I always thought my neighbor Jimmy was a little sleazy, but he was always polite to me.

We said hello to one another in passing, and he kept to himself. I knew from all the cars that came and went in the dead of night that he was probably doing something illegal. One night the cops came for him. The following week the owner of the property threw a garage sale to get rid of all the stuff Jimmy had left behind. For some reason Jimmy had a very nice home gym, and I was able to purchase most of the equipment for a very low price. I came to find out that Jimmy had been a personal trainer who had started dealing drugs at the gym. It got to the point that he was making so much more money as a dealer that he quit the gym and stopped personal training. A few months later he was in jail, and now all his great equipment from his home gym was mine! I cleared out my garage, laid down some yoga mats in the corner, and set up all the equipment in the middle of the room. In time I would need a climate control system for the garage, because it wouldn’t be a real gym without one! In the meantime I just familiarized myself with all the various gym equipment, and wondered how much of it was stolen. If Jimmy would sell drugs, then I’m sure he wouldn’t be above something like stealing gym equipment, now would he?

What does chess have to do with lifting weights?

I grew up playing a lot of chess.

My father was pretty late in life when I came along, and he wasn’t spry enough to play catch with me in the yard.

Instead we played games inside, and had discussions by the fireplace. Mostly we played chess, which he used to make various analogies about life. I will be honest with you – I don’t really care for chess, I don’t have the capacity for long-term strategy. Also, most of his analogies made no sense, but that might have been dementia. As I said, he was old. The other day my personal trainer mentioned something about gym in the weight room, and I had to ask him to explain it to me. Once he explained chess in terms of weight lifting, I understood it perfectly! In both cases, you have to play a long-term strategy in order to succeed, and I never thought weight lifting had a strategy, but I was wrong. My personal trainer had always regulated my workouts, and told me when to shift my focus to a new muscle group. This was because crafting a toned body takes not just physical work, but mental work as well. There are different ways to lose weight quickly, and to add muscle mass, but I was wanting all of that and more! My workout program promotes positive total health, with an emphasis on my physique. I know that there is more to wellness and fitness than looking good, but I guess I’m just vain because above all else I want to look good!
