When no one called by 4 PM, I called them. Whoever answered said they tried to call, however no one answered. There is an animosity that comes with the task, because some people recognize they can name their own price. Many people don’t think they should have to pay, and will haggle over the price. Haggling is fine, if their price isn’t being forced on the HVAC serviceman. Let them call and haggle with me. I’m the one who gives the final determination on the costs of HVAC systems and repairs. My husband patted our hand and told myself and others I can’t change the world, however I’m making some people’s world more comfortable.

I have to focus and knock out one more hour of work online and then I can play a game with my little wee ones out in the living room.

They aren’t my kids but my cousin’s kids, but I am not sure what they would be to me so I will just call them the wee ones.

They are really cute but can be a bit too much for me as they love to pester me each time I come out of my room for a break. So I will stay in here and get these heating and cooling system articles done before I venture out to go play with the wee ones. It is noon now and my brother is going to pick me up around 3pm to go over to my stepfather’s house for a little visit. My stepfather works in the HVAC corporation in town and sells smart thermostats and radiant floor heating to local customers in the area. He is about to retire and we want to go visit him while we are here for another week or so. My brother and I both work for heating and cooling companies where we live and learned a lot about the HVAC industry from my stepfather over the years. We are here for the holidays but it will be winding down soon and we will both go back to our lives overseas for another year. I think my stepfather is going to sell his HVAC corporation next year and call it quits after a long time in the heating and cooling industry.

There is nothing like a good old bag of frozen veggies to make your hurting knees feel a lot better.

I have two bags on my knees and will keep them there for the next twenty minutes and let them do their thing to help heal my knees. So now I am doing the same thing with my knees and should have them back to good in no time. I wanted to ride my bike to this local business today to buy a new washable HEPA filter, but I don’t know if my knees would be happy with that and should probably take a day and do as little as possible with my knees. I think one good day of rest would really help them a lot, but if I don’t rest then I could be in more trouble tomorrow with them. My dad worked in the HVAC industry as a cooling representative and always told me these same six words; Davo, you gotta learn to relax. And I think he was right!
