When I moved out west, I had to get a UV Air purifier
I had to move out west for my job last year.
This wasn’t exactly something that I was expecting and so I hadn’t really planned for it at all. I was used to living somewhere that the weather is pretty mild and I barely ever had to use my air conditioning system at all in the summertime. We had very cold winters, with the temperatures staying in the teens and twenties for months at a time. In other words, I always used to worry about my heating system being in good working order. I was a member of an HVAC maintenance and repair plan club. We didn’t have to use the furnace repair services very often, but believe me when I say that we always had our furnace up and ready to run with the weather started cooling down. Where I used to live, you just don’t mess around with the frigid winter temperatures. You even always had an extra heating source available, like a wood burning fireplace or an electric space heater, just in case your furnace went on the blink. However, now that I’m living out on the west coast, the heating system is the last thing that I think about anymore. Out here, I have to use the air conditioning system on almost a daily basis. It’s pretty much the opposite from where we used to live. Not only that, but the air feels very moist and heavy here. I don’t like the smog or the pollen that gets into my ventilation system, and so I had to buy a UV air purifier to run in tandem with my air conditioning system.
