We saved money on Heating & Air Conditioning
Finally, it seemed quite blatant that dealing with the brutal heat and humidity of my modern apartment region was necessary.
Once both of us moved into the South, Bob and I were totally blown away by the brutal heat and humidity during the summer time weeks, basically from July through August, I did not want to be too far from Heating & Air Conditioning cooling; My wifey Bob and I just took that system and ran with it, then while it’s important to have Heating & Air Conditioning systems here in the summer, you can take it too far; It’s important to get a good handle on Heating & Air Conditioning cooling once you’ve been down here a little bit, but Bob and I spent so much money on air conditioner over the first couple of summers, but so much cash that it pains me to even think about it.
So last Springtime, Bob and I decided that we would get more control over the cost of Heating & Air Conditioning cooling. Bob and I got the house narrow and made sure both of us got the type of solar shades that would stop the direct sunshine heating. These were very important steps for sure. However, it was the combination of acclimating to the brutal heat and being more disciplined with the temperature control setting that honestly made a difference. Bob and I were able to challenge ourselves last Springtime not to turn on the air conditioner until it got wicked hot. This allowed us to acclimate a bit better to the heat and humidity so it wasn’t so totally overwhelming once July came along. Being a bit more accustomed to the brutal heat, both of us were able to have a much higher temperature control setting through the summer. This saved a ton on Heating & Air Conditioning cooling costs.
