There was nothing in the realtor notes that stated there wasn't an Heating, Ventilation & A/C system.

When we walked up to the door, it was everything we had dreamed a beach house should be.

My partner & I were planning on moving back home. We had been residing in the Midwest for the last more than five years, & we were both homesick. We were both born & raised in the Northeast, & we wanted to have the house ready for us before we arrived. We went on all the real estate sites and, after whittling the choices down to more than five different homes; we called the realtors who were representing these homes. They e-mailed us all the information that they had from the MLS listings & from their personal experience with the home. We ended up with pictures from each of the more than five homes, along with floor plans & information on the condition of the house & anything that may need to be done. We finally settled on 1 beach house that seemed to be perfect for our family’s needs. We put the down payment on the house & promised to have the rest of the money when we arrive for the closings. Until we absolutely had a copy of the deed in hand, we would not get to see the house. When we walked up to the door, it was everything we had dreamed a beach house should be. The only thing that was missing was an Heating, Ventilation & A/C system. We asked the realtor why there was nothing in the listings about a missing Heating, Ventilation & A/C system, & he appeared shaken. She thought they were joking when they said they were taking the AC machine with them, but he never thought they would take it & the gas furnace when they moved. Now we need to file a police report.
