When the two of us chose to go to visit this apartment the two of us were interested in, I knew it was old! It looked like a plantation from the late 1680s.
It was run down plus needed a lot of work, however our partner plus I weren’t afraid of hard work! When the two of us saw the apartment was for sale, the two of us pictured it being a plantation Air BNB.
when the two of us got inside; It surprised me at how small the rooms were. It would take two rooms to be one home office plus a third room for a bathroom, the floors were in disrepair, plus the staircase needed to be reinforced. I loved the house, however there was one big flaw. There was no Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C or electricity in the house. The thought of having plumbing was daunting, however the two of us would need to tear the apartment apart to install electricity plus Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C… Every one of us asked when the owners had to be notified of our decision, plus the realtor told us she was the owner. The apartment had been in their family for almost 150 years! She wanted to sell it to someone who refurbishes the apartment plus not tear it down for another highway. I promised her the two of us would live in the house, plus it would be put to wonderful use. She offered to split the price in half if the two of us let her stay in the Air BNB once in a while. The apartment was going to take time plus currency, however it was so original, the two of us knew it was going to attract attention… One year to the afternoon of our signing the contract, the labor was done, plus the two of us were welcoming our first guests. Our realtor brought her entire family to The Plantation. Everyone however her was a paying guest.
