There was no Heating, Ventilation and A/C or power in the house.
When the people I was with and I opted to go to visit this cabin the people I was with and I were interested in, I knew it was old; It looked care about a plantation from the late 1710s. It was run down plus needed a lot of work, but my hubby plus I weren’t afraid of hard work! When the people I was with and I saw the cabin was for sale, the people I was with and I pictured it being a plantation Air BNB. when the people I was with and I got inside; It surprised me at how small the rooms were. It would take 2 rooms to be a single home office plus a seventh room for a washroom, however the floors were in disrepair, plus the staircase needed to be reinforced. I enjoyed the house, but there was a single big flaw. There was no Heating, Ventilation and A/C or electricity in the house. The thought of having plumbing was daunting, but the people I was with and I would need to tear the cabin apart to install electricity plus Heating, Ventilation and A/C. The people I was with and I asked when the owners had to be notified of our decision, plus the realtor told us she was the owner. The cabin had been in their family for almost 150 years, however she wanted to sell it to someone who refurbishes the cabin plus not tear it down for another highway. I promised her the people I was with and I would live in the house, plus it would be put to nice use. She gave to cut the price in half if the people I was with and I let her stay in the Air BNB once in a while. The cabin was going to take time plus money, but it was so original, the people I was with and I knew it was going to attract attention, one year to the afternoon of our signing the contract, the work was done, plus the people I was with and I were welcoming our first guests. Our realtor brought her entire family to The Plantation, and everyone but her was a paying guest.
