He showed myself and others pictures of the deck plus of the Heating & A/C system. He said there was no way he could be out on a river in the middle of summer time separate from having air conditioning. They even had a ladder that led from the houseboat into the river so the kids could go swimming. I was already dreading spending more than 2 weeks in a houseboat when the time came. When trip arrived, it surprised myself and others to see that the houseboat had more up-to-date amenities that our beach home had. My child looked around the kitchen plus comment they had the exact ‌refrigerator she wanted. Another time it was the toaster oven was the same kind that she would love to have. Her husband told her she was on trip, plus should love it. When we started looking for the air conditioning, we couldn’t find it or the temperature controls. The houseboat was really stuffy inside, separate from air conditioning, plus I did not guess I could stay separate from AC. My child called the rental office plus asked about the AC unit. They told her where she would find the remote control plus said to point at the giant box on the wall. All of us had ductless Heating & A/C.
