The heating wasn’t turned on
The heating wasn’t turned on the other day when I was at the doctor getting an MRI done for my shoulder.
I was already really stressed out about the fact that I was going to have to do this MRI.
I hate being in enclosed spaces, and I was really anxious about the whole process. The fact that when I went inside the office and the whole place was freezing cold did not help me at all. I went in there thinking that it was going to be nice and warm and cozy because the weather outside was really bad that day. I was looking forward to actually covering up with a blanket while I had the MRI done, but I had no idea that it was going to be so cold inside of the office. When I walked in the door, I noticed that all of the technicians had their winter coats on inside of the building. The lady at the front desk told me that their heating and cooling system had broken down and that their furnace was not working. She asked me if I wanted to reschedule, but I did not want to. I was already stressed out about it enough and I did not want to have to wait any longer to just get it over with. I ended up doing the MRI with my teeth chattering and with goosebumps all over my body because it was so cold. I think the temperature in the MRI room was probably only 62 degrees! I’m just glad that it’s done!
