The furnace doesn’t run often in my house
In my house, the furnace just doesn’t run that often.
That’s because I have a lot of problems with inflammation most of the time and I have to keep the temperature really cold in my house.
Whenever we first moved in here, we used the furnace a whole lot more than we do now. I think that’s probably because I’ve gotten older and my hormones are just crazy now. It seems like I am hot all the time in addition to having all of these inflammation issues. My husband makes fun of me because I am always so hot and sweaty. We joke around about it all the time, but I usually just tell him the joke is on him because he’s the one that is always freezing cold in our house. He has to put on slippers and a sweater all the time because I won’t ever turn the heating system up. Whenever I am gone for work for the day, he sneaks in and turns the temperature up on the thermostat. However, the minute that I get home from work, I turn the thermostat back down and then he is cold all night long. Of course, during the summer, it’s even worse. I keep the temperature settings around 60 degrees during the summer and so he is constantly freezing cold because of the great central air conditioning system in our house. He says that he doesn’t even feel like we need a furnace in the house because we use it so rarely! I think he’s just a little bit too dramatic.
