The birds are feeling the chill of winter
Winter is a time where Thelma plus Louise, the names of our 2 parrots, tend to hate.
- I personally really enjoy Winter however not them.
Their cage is in the living room right next to the window so they can enjoy something different. The living room isn’t quite the greatest when you spend your whole life mostly in the cage or in 1 room. I personally have the desire to set them free however my wifey would kill me! The birds were given to us from her late Grandma so I can see why she wouldn’t want to get rid of them. They have picked up some naughty words when they see the snow falling, words not suitable for children. When the snow falls they cuddle up to each other plus shiver like crazy. I wasn’t sure if this is because they are scared of the white flakes hitting the trees plus ground covering everything. I do let them out of the cage from time to time however a single day the snow was coming down plus I let them out plus they made an attempt to fly to the heating device plus nestled up to it. They stopped shivering. I think that must be the setback. Their cage is next to the window so there might be some chill factor involved with the snow. What can I do to help? I called my buddy Pete who works at Pete plus Pete heating repair plus he told me that I can try a space heating device for them. I guess I didn’t want to move their cage so this sounded like a fine idea! I looked online for a space heating system for sale plus found a pretty good one at our local store. This is perfect plus the birds will be especially glad! I think I do love them.
