Stunning my soon-to-be inlaws with my cooling tech skills
Last summer, we visited my boyfriend’s parents, who live in the next town, which is a coastal town.
We had planned this visit for a year but postponed it because of work.
It was finally happening, and we were both excited about it. His parents had retired, bought a piece of land near the beach, and built a beautiful house. We arrived at their home on a Friday evening. The trip took us about four hours. Once we settled in, his mother, Lori, asked for my help with indoor comfort. She complained that her mini split air conditioner had been acting up for several days. I am a cooling representative with a well-renowned cooling corporation in our hometown. Upon examining the cooling equipment, I realized that the air filters and some components needed replacing. I called around and got an experienced cooling tech to come and run an air conditioning repair on the HVAC equipment. Having worked in the cooling industry for nearly seven years, I knew several cooling specialists who knew more about air conditioning, even in nearby towns. We were able to schedule an appointment for the next day. My boyfriend’s partner has a beautiful pool, so we planned for a swim the next day after breakfast. The cooling professionals were prompt for the appointment to repair the air conditioner. The professionals had fixed the quality air conditioner before we went out for our swim. It was pleasing to experience quality indoor comfort after the repairs. It all took about an hour. His parents were glad to have an intelligent and skilled soon-to-be daughter-in-law. All the nerves I was feeling were misguided. I enjoyed meeting his parents.
