Should I buy an electric fireplace?
Should I buy an electric fireplace? This is something I have been going back and forth on.
The truth is, that when it comes down to beauty I think that gas fireplaces are far superior.
The problem with gas fireplaces though is that they are more dangerous and I can’t help but to worry that I will make a mistake that will kill me if I get a gas fireplace. So I have been thinking about getting an electric fireplace instead. An electric fireplace is cheaper than a gas fireplace at my local heating and cooling company, they are not as dangerous, but I don’t think they are as pretty. So what should I do then? Should I go with what I want, which is the gas fireplace and just learn how to properly manage it, or should I go with an electric fireplace which is cheaper but isn’t what I really want? I have tried asking the local heating and cooling workers there but unfortunately they tell me that it is up for me to decide because both would work well in my home. I think what I am going to do is continue to research my options and learn more about gas heating systems before I commit to buying the fireplace. It isn’t a cheap purchase and If I am going to get it I want to make sure that I know what I’m doing. I do hope that I can find enough information to make an informed decision soon, otherwise it is going to take forever before I get a fireplace for my home.
