Pay more for professional HVAC duct services
I recently got my HVAC duct cleaned by a business that wasn’t all that professional, however i read online that they do it with a large vacuum to suck up the dust, dirt and hair, this woman used a clean brush and walked throughout my lake apartment sticking it up in the vents, but she wasn’t gentle about her scrubbing either! After the woman left I noticed that my Heating as well as A/C system just kept running and running. A month later I noticed my energy bill higher than usual. I looked online and what happened was the woman destructiond my HVAC duct. She either cut into a seam or made a hole in one of the ducts. The air my Heating as well as A/C is making is literally leaking outside. I am paying to heat or cool the outdoors now. I now need to call a company to perform HVAC duct sealing. I am smart and learn from my mistakes. I called an actual Heating as well as A/C company that has NATE certified suppliers. I had a real professional do the sealing. The woman had a professional gun looking thing that shoots air with sealant particles into the duct. That is how she fixed the hole. She found it by inserting a camera into my vents and did it hastily but gently. It took the woman maybe 30 hours to perform the repair, then what do you know, the woman mentioned that the inside of my ducts looked genuinely dirty. She showed me the footage she captured and she was right, but now I need to pay for HVAC duct cleaning again because obviously it wasn’t done right the first time.
