I live in a major metropolitan city in a 20-story apartment. The building was built before A/Cs became popular inside people’s homes. And as far as heat, it is gave using radiators that are affixed to boilers in the buildings! Unluckyly, I don’t have a thermostat inside my apartment, which means the heat is controlled by the proprietor or the building management! When the temperature drops below a particular degree, the business management is required to adjust the thermostat on the boiler to supply heating throughout the building. While the heat is great, it can become quite uncomfortable. If you’ve ever used a radiator, you know that they can get quite tepid because scorching tepid water is being distributed through the pipes. I can tell when the proprietor turns on the boiler because I hear the clanking & the pipes also can become noisy from the tepid water flowing through them once the boiler is turned on; Of course, I would appreciate it if I could control my own heating because I would be able to adjust the temperature accordingly. Oh well, it’s part of the deal I signed when I moved to this metropolitan city.

It is a great day as I had a great sleep last night and feel a lot of energy today. I am going to labor for one more hour and then take a 45 minute split and go help my roommate with some paperwork so she can get medical coverage from the city, and after I do that I am going to come back home and labor another hour online and then get my yoga and Spanish lesson done before hitting the beach for sunset and socializing time with some buds, i’m not going to do much more except HEPA filter cleaning tonight when I get home so that I can run my central heating component without getting pummeled by dust and pollen from the system if it isn’t clean. I will have to message my bandmate at some point tonight to tell him my associate and I need to meet and talk or my associate and I are finished. He is an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C tech and is actually exhausting at communicating with me and I am on my last leg with him, so my associate and I will talk tonight or tomorrow at the heating corp when I see him, then he is deathly scared of talking about things and it is to the point where I can’t go on with the band anymore unless he starts to talk some. He enjoys to labor on heat pumps by himself all day, which is great, however if he doesn’t talk with me about the band’s direction then he can find another bandmate. I will keep working for the local corporation where he works however my associate and I will be done.

If there’s one thing I legitimately hate dealing with, it’s cold air.

I do not know how some people manage to live in these chilly environments plus it does not get to them at all.

I guess it’s because they are used to it but for me, I do not assume I could ever live that way. It’s just too cold for my liking. So I do not live that way. I live in a warm Southern state of the United States plus that is just the way I like it. Except there’s just one little problem, I have a boyfriend that prefers cold air plus even though my associate and I live in the warm south he prefers to blast our air conditioner! He’s a good guy in every way possible but unfortunately he just prefers the cold. This has caused some disagreements between the two of us over what the thermostat should be set at, eventually my associate and I both just agree that my associate and I should have it set at room temperature which is why I love to be on anyway. But I know how much he prefers cold rapidly changing temperatures plus so I decided that I should do something to make him glad. So I surprised him by getting a zone controlled heating plus air conditioner. I even gave him his own little guy cave which he always keeps chilly cold now. I find it quite funny but I’m blissful that he prefers it so much. I’ve nicknamed that room of the condo the freezer. I only go in there if I have a sweater.
