I sold the supplier to Jack & retired

I was thinking about retiring for 5 or 10 years before I truly decided to sell the business… I wanted to make sure that I sold the heating & AC maintenance & replacement supplier to someone that would keep the name going.

I did not want to sell all of the clients & have my supplier name thrown out. I have been in the residential & Commercial AC & heating maintenance & replacement supplier for a honestly long time & I have managed to do honestly well during that time. I had one worker that has been with me for 10 years & the guy’s name is Jack. I told Jack that I wanted to sell the supplier to him & retire… Hardly any of years ago I brought it up & she said there was no way that she could buy the business… Last year I went back to Jack & told him that it was time for me to retire. If I could not sell the supplier to him, after that I was going to have to close down the doors for good. I offered Jack a great deal so she could buy the supplier without a lot of money up front. I only needed enough money up front to make sure that all of my bills were paid & I truly had quite a bit of money that was already saved up, but after Jack agreed to the plan, I retired, bought a boat, & moved out to the water… Once a week I meet with Jack so my pal and I can discuss supplier until all of the fees for the supplier have been paid.
