Our heating didn’t heat the tile.

Our gas furnace worked amazingly well, as long as you weren’t barefoot.

I hated wearing shoes in the house.

There was something about mucking up the disinfect floors with the outside dirt. I liked the think of the carpeting between our toes, however not all the rooms had carpeting. There was brick in the study room and bathrooms, then every one of us had hardwood flooring in every other room except our living rooms. That’s why I took every opportunity I could to be in the living room. The brick and hardwood were so chilly on our bare feet that our toes would cramp. I told our hubby that both of us needed to do something about the chilly flooring. She called the Heating, Ventilation and A/C corporation, and they commanded both of us put the air ducts into the wall so they blew the heat across the flooring. I looked at the air vent covers, and knew it would only heat a small distance, and both of us would need to make holes in the walls. I wasn’t fond of that idea. I asked what it would cost to have radiant heating in the flooring. The price she quoted was a bit more than I had thought it would be, however it was doable, but when the Heating, Ventilation and A/C corporation began talking about cutting up the flooring and putting heat tape or water pipes under the floor, I thought she was nuts. She didn’t think how much it had cost to install this flooring. I would let no a single tear them up. Then I thought about the cost of the plumbing and wondered where the hot water would come from. I told the Heating, Ventilation and A/C corporation I would put up with the chilly floors and find a pair of fuzzy slippers to keep our toes warm.
