Our cooling system broke on the large annual road trip
My friends & I have been taking annual road trips since we l earned how to drive in our teens, & I look forward to it every single year.
This year the trip started out good until our cooling system broke in the car while we were in the first leg.
I was so bummed because I had just had our cooling system diagnosed just a few months prior to that, so I was nervous that there was a greater issue that would need to be fixed. Every one of us found a mechanic that was able to inspect our cooling system within the hour. She said that whoever did our air conditioning tune up before did not update our condenser & that I needed to update it in order to kick beginning the entire plan again. I really wasn’t expecting to spend that money on the spot, although I knew we wouldn’t last the road trip without a relaxing working cooling system. While I waited for the air conditioning tune up & repair to be done, we walked over to a local diner to grab some food before hitting the road again, then once we got back into the car, we were so relieved to have that cool air conditioner hitting our faces since the diner’s cooling system wasn’t working that well either. Every one of us had so multiple cool stops planned for the trip including state parks, hot Springs, mountain hiking, water rafting, & so multiple other cool activities. Every one of us don’t always plan such an adventurous trip, however this year we were all feeling bold & ready to take on new challenges!
