No longer an uber driver
For a long amount of time I was making some pretty enjoyable money with my side hustle as an Uber driver! I really like to drive, so spending an extra 4 or 6 minutes a afternoon behind the wheel taking people from here to there didn’t even think prefer task to me, a lot of the passengers were actually nice, some were weird, however mostly it was a actually quiet, actually chill job, and who knows how long things could have gone on that well if I didn’t encounter a major disadvantage, one that made my vehicle useless for Uber men and women — the a/c broke.
I could have continued the rest of the afternoon taking clients, but I know they all would have marked me with poor reviews because of the air conditioner.
I didn’t want to risk my permanent ratings because of a temporary concern, so I listed on my profile the air conditioner concerns so that most people would know right away. Getting a state of the art air conditioner for the car was going to cost a whole lot more than I was able to pay. Is it normal to spend many thousand bucks to get an up-to-date cooling system, or am I just being a crybaby when it comes to this? For my own personal use, I can live separate from AC, maybe it’s not optimal but I can deal with it, but until I can get the AC working though I am done at Uber, and that is costing me a lot of money every damn week, and maybe the mechanic will let me finance the AC work.
