No A/C took me out of work
I didn’t feel like risking my permanent ratings because of a temporary problem, so I listed on our profile the complications so that most people would think up front, getting a modern for the vehicle was going to cost much, much more than I was able to pay
For a good amount of time I was making some pretty fine currency with our side hustle as an Uber driver. I really love to drive, so spending an extra 4 or 6 hours a day behind the wheel taking people from here to there didn’t even feel like labor to me! A good amount of the passengers were truly nice, some were weird, however mostly it was a very quiet, truly chill job, and who knows how long things could have gone on that well if I didn’t encounter a major disadvantage, one that made our vehicle useless for Uber passengers — the a/c stopped working. I could have continued the rest of the day taking clients, although I think they all would have marked me with poor reviews because of the I didn’t feel like risking my permanent ratings because of a temporary problem, so I listed on our profile the complications so that most people would think up front, getting a modern for the vehicle was going to cost much, much more than I was able to pay. Is it normal to spend various thoUSand bucks to get a new a/c, or am I just being a crybaby about this? For our own personal use, I can live without any type of AC, maybe it’s not optimal although I can deal with it; Until I can get the A/C up and running though I am done at Uber, and that is costing me a lot of currency every damn week, maybe the mechanic will let me pay for the A/C work.
