New household is tepid upstairs, insulation
Well, my buddy and I had nice intentions in demanding that the seller updated the insulation, but they had their own ideas about energy expenditure… By that, I mean they spent as little energy as possible to install yet another layer of exhausting quality insulation
I know I should not be surprised. I legitimately should expect this, plus should have no negative feelings about this fact. However, I can’t help but to feel disgruntled plus defeated with this most recent development. What’s going on, you ask? My upstairs level of my household is ungodly hot. Again, and yes, I have lived in a household with a similar floor plan before, plus yes, the tepid air accumulation upstairs was exactly the same. I know I was naive to suppose that our air quality would be any different in this current home, although I know I fell victim to wishful thinking, then rather than entering our brand current household with the sufficient expectation that our upstairs living rooms would always be ten degrees warmer than the rest of the house, no matter the control device settings, I legitimately hoped that a higher quality cooling system plus household construction would circumvent this air quality nightmare. Well, dreams don’t always come true. It turns out that our top floor is just as tepid plus humid as could be. Sure, it doesn’t help that our A/C device is well over 10 years old, but I’m also pretty sure that the lack of attic insulation isn’t helping our cause either. Whenever the household inspector stuck his head up into the attic, he let us know that that present insulation was in exhausting shape. There was little heat being trapped inside or outside of the household with the 2 inches of old insulation present, plus he recommended my buddy and I have it updated instantly for energy efficiency.
