My roommate's 1 big rule
I would say that generally, our roommate is a pretty laid back woman.
However, after moving in, I discovered the 1 thing that seems to get to him.
The air conditioner system; I found this out when after she left, I turned down the a/c equipment a few degrees… When she came back home, it took him less than 5 minutes to figure this out. The people I was with and I then had a heated discussion, I wanted to rights to the temperature control, but she was insistent that was her territory. I personally found this ridiculous, as well as I had planned to continue changing the air conditioner temperature, just while she was gone, however every time I do that, she still seems to figure it out. I even tried changing it back to its original temperature before she got back home, but she still accused me of touching the temperature control! I now wonder if she is like extra sensitive to temperature or something, it’s very weird. I finally just decided to back off as well as deal with whatever temperature she felt like having it. It wasn’t worth all of these constant fights over heating as well as cooling, as well as I just wanted to have some peace back, but sure enough, it seemed like after a month of me not touching her precious cooling system, she became her laid back fun self again! Ever since then, the two of us had no problems living together. I haven’t messed with the Heating & A/C hot as well as cold temperatures, as well as it hasn’t been brought up by him either. So apart from her unusual Heating & A/C habit, she is a fantastic roommate as well as the two of us get along great.
