My goddaughter's keen interest on the female cooling expert
I visited my goddaughter a few weeks ago, and something inspiring happened.
I helped her through the pregnancy, and our bond has grown deeper.
When Willow was born, my friend requested that I be her godparent. Willow and I hit it off, and we have a great bond. I visit at least every few weeks. I sat on the floor and played with her while chatting with my friend. The house seemed a little hot, and upon inquiry, my friend said she was waiting for an HVAC tech to come help with indoor comfort since the mini split air conditioning system had malfunctioned that morning. The cooling expert finally arrived, and she turned out to be a woman. The scene was not new to me, having worked in the cooling industry for several years. Our corporation recently got a new contractor, and she is a woman. My goddaughter was so excited to see this woman climb up the ladder to the attic to examine the cooling equipment. For the next two hours, Willow asked the lady dozens of questions about their tools, gear, and every step they took in the air conditioning installation. Willow was so keen on what the HVAC professionals were doing that you would have thought she would sit for a cooling technology exam right after. The professionals fixed the quality HVAC and restored indoor comfort. I had always emphasized to my friend to ensure regular schedule tune-ups for her cooling equipment, but being a single working mother, she had a lot on her plate she would forget most times. At dinner, Willow said she would replace the air conditioning filter without help. There was so much more she needed to learn about new HVAC, but we kept that bit of information to ourselves.
