My dad is considering having radiant radiant floors installed in his condo

My dad is always looking to make swings in his life; Last year he decided he wanted to learn how to sail boats, so he began an apprenticeship at our local marina.

Then he decided he wanted to learn how to roller skate, so he started taking lessons. Now he is committed to learning more about his beach condo a/c as well as oil furnaces. This has led to a myriad of plans as well as renovations on his current oil furnace. He’s always had a central heater, which I feel has been just okay. I’m not a immense fan of feeling a immense gust of heat if you are sitting in the direction of an A/C vent. I also have excruciating dust sensitivities, as well as I don’t recognize the central Heating as well as A/C helps at all. He started learning about radiant radiant floors, as well as I feel he’s easily considering having them installed. I don’t recognize if it’s the best decision because it seems like it’s more cost efficient to install radiant floors in a brand current house. To rip out the central oil furnace as well as completely redo the flooring to install the radiant floors may cost close to triple the amount of what it would be if it was installed in a current home. My dad is absolutely adamant about installing the radiant floors now, although I told him he should wait until he moves into his current condo next year. I feel the radiant floors would increase the value of the property before he installs it. Maybe when I get to that point I will understand a bit more.
