My air conditioner hasn't been cleaned in a while
I knew that my card needed to be cleaned, but I didn’t want to spend several hundred dollars on getting it detailed by a car cleaning place. I decided to schedule a time to take my car to a self-service car wash where there are also vacuums and carpet cleaners available. If you don’t keep your car clean, it will get dirty and disorganized faster than you can keep up. I initially got into bad habits with my car cleaning care because my step father used his back seat as a garbage can when I was in high school. It makes me cringe thinking about it now, but there were multiple instances of him giving me and a friend a ride home from school and having to climb on top of garbage in the back seat just to fit in the car. You should have a garbage bag in your car like you would in your kitchen, and then you can get rid of it as soon as the bag fills to the brim. While I am more than willing to do the necessary car cleaning these days on my own, I can’t do the same with my air conditioning system at home. I have to hire my HVAC supplier twice a year to do maintenance on my HVAC system, and this typically includes basic cleaning on the condensate lines and the air handler. The condensate line cleaning is extremely important because a clog in the condensate line can lead to a water leak in the air conditioner. If I forgo getting this work done on time each year, I could run into much bigger issues than the $200 it takes to purchase a maintenance contract from the HVAC company.
