My AC unit is destroyed.

Have you ever had one of those days when nothing seemed to go right.

I can’t say that my day was anyone’s fault but my own, but everything went wrong.

It seems that I can’t let things alone. When something needs to be done, I don’t want to ask for help. I think I can do it all by myself. So, when it came time to take the air conditioning out of the window and put it in the attic, I was starting it on my own. My husband told me to wait until he got home to help, but I couldn’t. I had to have the job done. He worked all day and I stayed home. Besides, I was positive I could do it on my own. I checked out the situation before starting. I decided that it would be simple to remove the air conditioner. I opened the window and leaned up against the AC unit. Instead of pulling the air conditioning out, the movement of my body pushed it out. It was like watching in slow motion as the air conditioner slid across the window sill. The AC unit tipped outward and then it began to fall. It gracefully fell through the air and it landed on the ground. I could see every part of the air conditioner as it splattered on the sidewalk. I ran downstairs and I started to clean the mess up. I could at least have the mess cleaned up before my husband got home. I could deal with my not listening when he got into the house.
