Just use a ductless heat pump instead of a space heater
I think there is always multiple ways to approach something, or go about an issue.
So many people become frustrated because they can only see the flaws in the single plan their mind generates.
They don’t take the time to explore other options or possibilities that lay ahead of them. For example, my old roommate swears up and down about how great space heaters are. Sure, space heaters are great for getting warm in an area that doesn’t have whole home heating. But space heaters aren’t the only type of heater out there. When his space heater broke, I honestly thought this man was going to die. He saw no other option to fix his heating dilemma other than to spend the money on another space heater. He didn’t even consider that instead of spending more money on another heater that is really a temporary solution, he could be using something that is a little more permanent. I told him about ductless heat pumps, and I think that he looked at me as if he was a deer in the headlights. The idea of installing a heater really shook him to his core. Ductless heat pumps are great though because they are perfect for homes that don’t have any air vents or ductwork. If you are already strictly using space heaters, it may be something to consider. There’s always another option available, but you may not be educated on it to know yet. It’s okay to learn more and upgrade your opinions as time goes on. That’s simply a part of life.
