It’s such a mellow energy here
A while back, I moved to this small beach town that’s far away from the rest of the world.
Folks gather here just to enjoy the warm weather and chill on the beach.
It reminds me of Cali back in the early ‘70s when it was full of skateboarders, surfers, and beach soccer players just doing their thing along the coast. We have homeless people, deranged people, cool people and everything in between. It’s a mellow energy here with many out of town folks, but it all grinds to a halt in September. Only a few days left till then. My Heating & A/C co-workers told me that on September 1st sees the masses leave as people resume their normal lives and kids head off to school. It will be a ghost neighborhood here soon and we will remember this summer as the best with all of the fun times and sports. I got a job at the local Heating & AC corporation working all fall and winter while enjoying freezing water dips in the sea to heal my body of all aches from lots of dancing and soccer matches on the beach. Life is cyclic and we keep on forging ahead one day at a time. I plan to do some Heating & A/C repairs and installations this Winter for the local Heating & AC company so that I can save up some money. My goal next summer is to work part time so I can enjoy the beach more. I love my life and I’m grateful for my friends and great health. I’m also grateful for my beautiful Heating & A/C plan that comes in handy in summer and winter.
