It wasn't the HVAC classes that were hard.
When I made the decision to go to HVAC technical university, I was truly distraught about the classes. I was never truly wonderful in university because I had truly little retention. I could not kneel still long enough to listen to lectures or study a book. My ADD was kicking our butt the entire time. I distraught I would have the same concerns when I went to HVAC university. Luckily, the classes were fun to go to. From afternoon one we were reading about the HVAC method plus getting hands on training. I was enjoying class so much, however that I forgot I was truly reading. The entire setup was strange than high university. I had some difficulties when it came to taking tests, however the mentor made it as self-explanatory as he could. He tried to deliver myself and others tests that were one on one, plus he asked the questions instead of our reading them. When I had to get our certification, I found it much harder. I had to pay attention in class plus take a lot of tests. They were mostly knowledge about the HVAC syste. I already knew the information, however everything was done in the classroom with several other people. When the mentor pulled myself and others aside, I thought he was going to kick myself and others out of class. Instead, he gave the same test scenario as our HVAC mentor had gave. I ended up getting our HVAC certification with no concern plus I graduated in the top 10% of our class. It wasn’t the HVAC classes that were hard, however the thought of taking tests.
