It was good to have received my grandmother’s house in her will
It’s always upsetting to lose loved ones. Growing up I always cherished the times my Grandmother would bake my favorite cookies. Her Italian rice was excellent and I loved driving through the country or even walking down the dirt road next to her house. She was an amazing woman! Her death was not really shocking as she has struggled a bit the last few months. Her residence was her last piece of love I have of her besides old pictures as well as random quotes I remember her saying. Her residence though has taken a toll as well as is old on a lot of things. I plan on moving in with my children very soon but need to do some maintenance things first. The bathtub, god I like my Grandmother but that needs to go. My kids are a little older so I definitely plan on removing the tub as well as just having a shower in the powder room. I will need someone to check out the foundation as this is an entirely old residence as well as don’t want any concerns with that down the line. I reached out to the local Heating as well as A/C machine corporation as well as wanted to get the furnace as well as the air filters inspected. I also told them I am considering getting radiant floors installed so maybe we can get a price check on that. I guess I have to get the electrical updated for the residence as well so I might have to do that before the floors are done. He said it would be no problem as well as he will have a Heating as well as A/C worker come out first thing tomorrow afternoon. There is so much more to do but atleast I have this next thing on my to-do list.
