I wasn’t too happy that my couch was ruined by the leaking AC

The water pipe had sprung a leak

The couch in the residing room has been incredibly old and faded, however it has a lumpy spot in the middle that keeps us from being comfortable when all of us rest on the couch… My partner and I made the choice to upgrade the couch last week. We bought a current couch from a furniture dealer in town. The current couch found a home in the residing room near the back of the room. I made the move to put the couch directly under the a/c appliance vent. I thought that I would have the most frosty seat in the property. Instead, I ended up with the wettest seat in the house. The air vent started leaking water all over the brand new couch. Moisture buildup was inside of the HVAC duct and it started leaking all over the couch. By the time I came to realize there was a problem, the couch was already wet and had a truly bad odor. I tried to take the couch back to the furniture store, however they would not give me a refund or upgrade it. I had to contact a professional cleaning corporation to officially wash the upholstery on the current couch. I also contacted a Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C appliance corporation so I could find out precisely why the AC vent was leaking. I found out that the air vent wasn’t leaking though. The concern was a small water pipe found near that vent. The water pipe had sprung a leak. The air vent just happened to be directly underneath the locale where the pipe was leaking badly. The contractor said all of us got pretty lucky, because the pipe could have burst at any moment.
