I wasn’t sure I should get a sugar wax.
When I walked into the salon with our best friend, I was only there with her, then i wasn’t expecting to get anything done, other than a manicure, and one of the anesthetist was trying to talk me into getting a sugar wax.
I didn’t want a sugar wax, no matter where she wanted to do it, however she told me our spouse would be blissful if I had a sugar wax.
I explained I had a wifey, and he would not find out if I had a sugar wax. I was curious what the difference was between a sugar wax and a regular wax. She told me they used melted sugar, and they took away the hair as they flaked the sugar off. She told me she could do our legs, and I would see the difference. It surprised me at the difference in the amount of pain. It constantly hurt and burned when I had our legs waxed, but with the sugar wax, there was a sensation of heat, however it wasn’t painful. It felt odd when the sugar was flaked off, and then they scrubbed our legs and moisturized them. I wasn’t sure I wanted a sugar wax, however I was blissful I left the anesthetist do our legs. I haven’t felt that comfortable in months. Sugar was wax particularly better than shaving, depilatories, or regular waxing. I looked into purchasing at beach condo sugar waxing kits, however it didn’t work as well as if I had the sugar wax with an anesthetist. I knew I would go back to that salon and have it done again.
