I was afraid the boiler would flood the heating system room.

Our boiler is getting old. It is almost fifty years old, & I am afraid it is going to Spring a leak that will flood the heating system room. My partner has been repairing pipes for almost two years now, & it is becoming a never-ending plight, and last year, she was making so several repairs I felt like I was in an seasoned episode of the Three Stooges. She had pipes going every which way, & we had to call our son, who is a plumber, to help him get out of the maze. I told him it was time to give up on the boiler & get a new Heating & Air Conditioning system, but she doesn’t want to hear it. She told me how high-priced new Heating & Air Conditioning systems were & it wasn’t in our budget for a couple of years. She was going to baby the boiler system & she would start stashing cash away over the next two years. I loved what she was trying to do, however we had already put over a thousand dollars into keeping the boiler working & repairing the water pipes. I thought now was the time to discuss a new Heating & Air Conditioning system. I wanted to make sure we had a reliable heating system when winter arrived again, this year. I didn’t want to be stuck without heat. My associate and I talked about getting a new boiler. I didn’t want to go with central heating & air conditioner, because of the cost of HVAC duct. She said we could wait a couple of months & then get a price for a new ductless Heating & Air Conditioning. This wasn’t a new suggestion, however one we had discussed quite often over the last three years. Now, it was just an inevitable cost we needed to discuss.
