I rented a furnished house when I traveled to another state
When I decided to transfer to another state, I didn’t think what I was getting into, i made the decision in a short time plus didn’t have a plan of execution. I decided to transfer because of a promotion from our job that was a significant increase in pay, plus it was a stepping brick for the next level of our job as a SEO executive. I had a week to transfer plus get settled which was not a lot of time to pack up our house plus transfer across the country… So, I decided to search for short term housing possibilities so that I could have a comfortable locale to stay while I worked things out, and the rental was furnished, so I didn’t have to worry about rushing to pack our own furniture, and additionally, staying at the short term housing provided myself and others a chance to search for a permanent locale to live. The manager of the property also provided myself and others the most flexible lease that I could ask for. Instead of a 30-day written notice, he adjusted the lease to 15 afternoons verbal or written notice. Because I didn’t have a solid plan on how long I would be using the short term housing, this leasing option worked out well for me! Moving to another state can be a stressful thing, but it’s wonderful that there are short term housing possibilities that are fully furnished. And if the manager offers a flexible lease, that just makes the deal a whole lot better. Staying at that furnished rental made the transition easier for me.
