I missed our scheduled appt

Every year during the Spring and fall, I make sure to have a maintenance tune-up performed on my HVAC equipment.

A regular maintenance tune up can increase the longevity of your machine.

Proper cleaning and maintenance can also help the machine to work more effectively and for longer. It’s a proven fact that machines last longer when they have proper care. After all, that’s why we perform regular oil changes on our cars, trucks, ATVS, and minivans. A typical HVAC tune up includes cleaning the condenser coils and making sure that the thermostat is calibrated. The HVAC technician should also check for leaks and evaluate the level of our refrigerant. They also examine all of the electrical and mechanical components for problems. My wife and I have had an HVAC tune up performed every year since we bought the new machine. We spent almost $7,000 on the new heating and air conditioning equipment, and I want it to last as long as possible. The last system what’s good for 8 years, but I’m hoping to get at least 10 out of this one. My wife and I are doing everything possible to care for our machine properly. The regularly scheduled tune-ups absolutely help. Unfortunately, you have to be there when the technician arrives. My wife and I had an appointment scheduled for last Tuesday morning, and both of us completely forgot. No one was home when the HVAC technician arrived to perform the evaluation. We had to reschedule for another day and pay a $20 fee for missing the appointment.
