I guess we’re going to have a raffle to get some advertising

My fiance and I own a small, family owned HVAC contractor here in town and all of us really love it.

  • It’s nice to work for ourselves and to not have to answer to anyone else except for our heating and cooling clients, then so far, our only source or marketing or advertising for our HVAC corporation has been through word of mouth.

However, I’m starting to guess that all of us might want to expand and so I have been looking into ways to do HVAC marketing and advertising; My fiance doesn’t really want to do much HVAC marketing, though. He is completely uninterested in advertising on the local boombox or anything like that. I can’t really even get him to commit to putting an ad or a coupon in the local cash saving magazines that all of us get here in the mail on a daily basis. My fiance seems to guess that anything like that would just end up causing us trouble because of the wording of the ad or coupon. He also seems to be uneasy about the fact that people might get mad if they try to use the coupon after it’s expired. I get that, but I still guess that our HVAC corporation could really benefit from a little bit of advertising and exposure in our area. I am thinking of doing a raffle for a brand modern central air conditioner device for some fortunate winner in our area. My fiance seems to guess that it will be a waste of cash for us to offer up this modern cooling system system, but I guess all of the free advertising that it will generate for our HVAC contractor will make the whole thing worth it.
