I found the perfect sofa for my office.

Unlike many professionals, I didn’t want leather chairs around my office.

I didn’t even want a leather sofa in my office.

I had my eye on a small sofa and a coffee table. I wanted to put small chairs at the coffee table so the children I worked with could sit and play. The sofa would be perfect for their parents when the kids were coloring or drawing. I knew how parents wanted to be with their children when they were seeing a doctor. Many kids felt more comfortable when they were in a home setting, and what is more homey than an overstuffed sofa, a coffee table, and children’s chairs. There was an exam table for the kids, but even that had padding, and it had paper drapes that had animals on it. I wanted my patients to be quite comfortable. I was shopping for almost three weeks before I found the perfect sofa for my office. It was overstuffed, but it was more of a love seat. The sofa was the color of a blue sky on a day full of sunshine. When I saw the sofa, I felt happy inside, and it almost felt like I could feel the sun shining on me. My husband agreed it was perfect for my office, and I had to smile. When he said he felt happy looking at the sofa, I knew it was perfect. When I brought the sofa home, I was so disappointed that I almost cried. I couldn’t fit it through the door, and I had to go out and start my search all over again.
