I dropped my only air conditioner down the stairs
I dropped my only air conditioner down the stairs.
I feel really silly, but I guess it is just my luck.
I moved apartments last week, and I decided to carry my air conditioner into my new apartment first. I wanted to cool it down a bit before I started moving all of my other things in. Well, I was not used to having an apartment on the third floor. My other apartment was on the first floor. I carried the air conditioner up the first flight of stairs just fine, but when I got to the second flight of stars, I tripped and fell going up the stairs. I dropped the air conditioner, and it fell down the stairs. I was embarrassed, but I was more concerned about my air conditioner. It was my only air conditioner, and I didn’t want it to be broken. I hoped that it was only cosmetic damage, so I carried the air conditioner up to my new apartment and plugged it in. I thought that it would turn on because the light turned on when I pressed the power button, but it didn’t actually do anything. The air conditioner would not actually work. It was a rough way to start a moving day. Now, I don’t have any air conditioning. I am going to have to invest in a new air conditioner whether I like it or not because my new apartment is even warmer than my last one. Heat rises, so I am guessing that is why my new apartment on the third floor is even warmer than my last apartment which was on the first floor.
