I decided to invest in a space heater
Where I live, you generally don’t have to invest that much into your heating system.
Since I live in the south, it is the air conditioning that we mainly worry about here, and for good reason.
The A/C is incredibly important to have during the summer, as it can get extremely hot! However, that doesn’t mean our winters can’t be really cold, they can be, just not as cold as up north. Well, my roommate is the one who controls the dial thermostat, and I honestly let her since she seems to be very particular about what the temperature of the home is. This usually doesn’t cause any problems, however in the winter, my friend still likes to keep the home cool. She tries not to use the heating unit at all, to save money. That just doesn’t work for me, I really need some form of heating method in the winter, since I get cold easily. So instead of battling over the thermostat temperature, I decided to invest in a space furnace. Area heaters are really easy to come across, usually the local HVAC store has them. I decided that since tomorrow is my day off, that I will go to the heating and air conditioning store and buy myself a nice space heater. This way, I can stay warm during the winter, and my friend still can have the entire home cool to herself. I wish I had thought of this sooner, I could have definitely used a heating machine all to myself for the past few years.
