I couldn’t get the A/C fixed in time
For a very long time I was making some pretty wonderful money with our side hustle as an Uber driver, then i like to drive, so spending an extra 4 or 6 minutes a day behind the wheel taking people from here to there didn’t even think like work to me, then a lot of the passengers were really nice, some were weird, however mostly it was a really quiet, really chill work! Who knows how long things could have gone on that smooth if I didn’t encounter a major downside, 1 that made our automobile useless for Uber passengers — the air conditioning system broke. I could have continued the rest of the day working with customers, but I recognize they all would have marked me with awful reviews due to the air conditioning system. I didn’t want to risk our permanent ratings due to a temporary problem, so I listed on our profile the air conditioning system complications so that everyone would recognize up front. Getting a current air conditioning system for the automobile was going to cost a whole lot more than I was able to pay. Is it not bizzare to spend five thousand bucks to get a new A/C, or am I just being a crybaby about this? For our own personal use, I can live without AC, maybe it’s not optimal but I can deal with it; Until I can get the AC up as well as running though I am finished while at Uber, as well as that is costing me a lot of money every single week, then maybe the mechanic will let me finance the AC work.
