HVAC shop never tells me worker is on the way

For the past 20 years I have lived in the same house. I guess I’m not the sort of person who really seeks out change and adventure in their lifetime. I am pretty happy living on my own, keeping a calm and quiet household, and living in the same familiar neighborhood. I don’t want to go see new sights or try out new experiences. This is also why I’ve had the same central heating, cooling, and air quality control specialist for the entire time I’ve lived here. When I moved in I had new air conditioning and heating equipment installed in the house. Since that original HVAC appointment I have used the same heating and cooling repair shop for every routine maintenance appointment, emergency repair service, and HVAC upgrade. I have never tried to switch heating and cooling providers because I am comfortable with the work that this HVAC repair shop does. That being said, there is one area of their HVAC operation that drives me insane. They never actually tell me when a heating and cooling technician is headed my direction. When I call in to arrange my heating, cooling, and ventilation repair appointment the HVAC dispatcher takes my information and tells me they’ll get back to me when an appointment is available. They never do. I’m always shocked when the heating and cooling technician is suddenly standing at my door, ready to tackle my indoor air quality conundrum. It’s not my favorite quality of this heating and cooling repair shop, but I feel like it’s brought us even closer. Most of their HVAC technicians have seen me wrapped in a towel.
