Helping my Dad sell her HVAC was quite the annoyance
My Dad has constantly been the style of lady that believes she is constantly right… Even when it came to remembering the name of our number one chinese restaurant, she constantly swore it was china wok when I knew for a fact it was china house, she simply doesn’t accept being wrong.
Well the past few weeks she has had myself and others looped up in her method to sell her HVAC.
She claims that selling the HVAC on her own would be better than selling it back to the company because she can get more money for it. I tried to tell her that because of the age of her HVAC system, it is easily unlikely that someone will want to privately purchase it. Not to mention it is winter, so entirely nobody is trying to purchase a used HVAC right now. She has myself and others posting to online social groups every day to promote this HVAC. We’ve had about many extreme inquiries, however once I tell them how aged the HVAC is, they pretty much stop replying. I’m getting so fatigued of it, so I told my Dad that I’m going to get a bid from the air conditioner company to see how much she can get for the HVAC plus the option up for it. At this point, I’m doing all the work for this stupid thing, so she’s going to accept whatever money she can get. I don’t guess why she won’t just divulge that she messed up by not selling it back the minute she got her updatement. It’s too much work to do that kind of thing on your own.
