He was supposed to be doing work on the air conditioner unit, however my pal and I also had questions.

I asked him if he would please explain what he was talking about. He told me he thought my pal and I needed a current furnace before winter season began. My pal and I didn’t need it right now, because winter season was over, however my pal and I had to buy a current furnace soon. He then told us the air conditioner device was in nice shape. He changed the air filter and cleaned the condensate drain. He also topped off the coolant. He repeated that the air conditioner device was in nice shape, and it should last for many years, as long as my pal and I continue with the service. When he left, I looked at my husband and asked if he understood what he was talking about. He said my pal and I needed a current furnace, however the air conditioner device was okay. I laughed and said nothing more.
