Had to make my way to the hospital
My mother for some reason is in the hospital, taken by ambulance a few months ago.
- I have been working all afternoon and no one told me that there was an issue until I called her on my brunch break.
My mother picked up the cellphone and said they are trying to figure out what is going on. I instantly got anxious, called a taxi and waited. It was muggy and I was dripping with sweat waiting for the driver to arrive. I jumped in her car and said we need to go and please go fast. The car felt nice as the air conditioner device was pumping out tons of cool air. Then it reminded me I forgot to turn off the central air before I left. I own my own contractor so I do my best to save currency as much as possible. It’s nice to have the freedom of owning your own business. Recently I did have a smart temperature control installed so I just pulled out my cell phone and inspected it without worry. Traffic was not very great and the driver was entirely sympathetic. She just lost her mother recently so she knows the feeling. We were a few blocks away and my mother called. She said everything is good and the healthcare worker said her immune system was a little out of whack. My mother is not the greatest at describing things. The healthcare worker prescribed her some meds and suggested a few things. Doctor said make sure the beach household isn’t dusty and keep it clean. Doctor also said to have the air conditioner filter evaluated. Knowing my mother, she hasn’t looked at it or even called an air conditioner device tech to check it out. I told my mother that I’ll set up the appointment.
