Furnished apartments with flexible leases isare great for traveling nurses

My daughter Cassie decided that she wanted to be a registered nurse.

Initially, I was not expecting her to choose that as a career because in her life, she was never a fan of hospitals or had any kind of interest in a medical career.

But she went to school and received all her licenses and certificationS and became a practicing RN. She always did well in this field, but during the COVID lockdowns her career skyrocketed. She became a traveling nurse, providing services for hospitals all over the country. During this time, she asked if she could move back home because it made no sense to keep her apartment while she traveled. Of course, I agreed to this because in the end, it made the most sense. Her assignments lasted for months at a time, so her apartment would be empty and per her lease, she couldn’t sublet it to anyone else. While she traveled, she rented furnished apartments as well as corporate housing. She was able to secure flexible monthly lease options with these furnished apartments and corporate housing. Because some of her assignments could end prematurely or extend for longer than what she initially thought, the flexible lease made it easier for her. It’s not easy being a traveling nurse because you’re away from home, but it’s great that there are so many different housing options that makes the process a lot easier. My daughter said that most of the furnished apartments and corporate rentals where she lived felt like home away from home. So, the temporary housing with the flexible monthly lease options has worked out well for her as she continues to travel.
