Breakfast had my stomach ready to burst

I didn’t have breakfast on Tuesday before I left for work.

I knew it would be a problem, but I hit the snooze button too many times and I was in a hurry.

I didn’t want to be late for work. I was even more rushed when I realized that I had to stop for gas. Since I was at the convenience mart, I decided to grab a breakfast sandwich from the deli case. It had ham, egg, and cheese on a small english muffin. I put the sandwich in the microwave, paid for my gas, and walked out the door. When I came back to grab my sandwich, the microwave was still running. I set the time for thirty minutes instead of three minutes. The sandwich was rock hard, but I swallowed every bite. Two hours later, my stomach was churning and churning. I felt really ill and I thought I was going to throw up. I was in the middle of an AC installation job and I couldn’t stop what I was doing. I couldn’t drop the AC parts to run outside. I tried to hold back the feeling in my belly, but I was unsuccessful. I threw up all over the garage floor and all over the AC unit in my hands. Thankfully, the customer was not in the room when the accident occurred. I cleaned everything up before she came outside to check on things. She noticed the weird smell in the garage, but I blamed the refrigerant for the AC machine. I’ll never eat another gas station muffin again.
