A/C worker was being very helpful

I couldn’t help but to feel stupid asking all of these simple, common sense questions.

  • It was my first time dealing with a heating and cooling company.

Honestly, it was my first time dealing with any kind of HVAC equipment at all. I had never even met an A/C specialist before. When I was growing up, my parents handled all of the heating and A/C technology matters themselves, and since they never taught me, I never learned. So when I had my own home and cooling device to take care of, I had no idea where to begin! To be honest, I kind of forgot about the air conditioning unit for a while until it started having issues. I had to research what to do in the case of a cooling component break down, and it was telling me to call a local A/C business. So I did just that, and they scheduled an appointment for A/C repair. When the heating and A/C specialist arrived, he started asking me basic A/C maintenance questions, and I couldn’t help but to feel so stupid, because I had no idea what he was talking about. Thankfully, instead of judging me, the A/C worker figured out I had no idea on anything heating and ventilation related, and so he began to explain the basics of HVAC care and HVAC maintenance. When I still didn’t fully understand everything, he suggested I sign up for the HVAC service plan, which I agreed to. Thanks to him and the service plan, getting help and proper care for the heating unit and A/C is much easier now.
