Using our Heating plus Air Conditioning units cost so much currency
When I first started renting this apartment, I knew that the electric bill was going to cost some currency, however i asked the landlord about the average cost of electricity in our apartment, plus he told myself and others that the average cost of electricity in our home was around $100.
I took his word for it, plus so far, it has been running steady.
I think that I am a pretty heavy user of electricity, so it absolutely didn’t surprise myself and others that much when I discovered how much electricity would cost, however, I never realized how much of the cost of electricity was just being used by our Heating plus Air Conditioning units… When I first started renting the apartment, it was the end of winter, plus I was using our gas furnace. In our state, our winters switch pretty harshly to summer, plus the two of us only had a few weeks without an Heating plus Air Conditioning unit. I wasn’t paying attention to the electric bill, so I didn’t notice the difference in the cost of electricity because of the Heating plus Air Conditioning units. However, I observed a drastic difference in the cost of utilities while turning off our A/C, normally, with the A/C running, I spend $100 a week. However, with the A/C turned off, I only paid $79 in utilities… This means that I spend $30 a week just on our A/C. I couldn’t know how extravagant it was to use the A/C, and part of myself and others wants to just leave the A/C off to save currency, however I think that I would never stick to that arrangement.
