Using our Heating & A/C units cost so much currency
When I first started renting this apartment, I knew that the electric bill was going to cost some currency; I asked the landlord about the average cost of electricity in my apartment, & he told myself and others that the average cost of electricity in my house was around $100.
I took his word for it, & so far, it has been running steady.
I guess that I am a pretty heavy user of electricity, so it truthfully didn’t surprise myself and others that much when I discovered how much electricity would cost; However, I never realized how much of the cost of electricity was just being used by my Heating & A/C units. When I first started renting the apartment, it was the end of winter, & I was using my furnace. In our state, our winters switch pretty extremely to summer, & the people I was with and I only had a few weeks without an Heating & A/C unit. I wasn’t paying attention to the electric bill, so I didn’t notice the difference in the cost of electricity because of the Heating & A/C units. However, I noticed a drastic difference in the cost of utilities while turning off my cooling system, normally, with the cooling system running, I spend $100 a month. However, with the cooling system turned off, I only paid $75 in utilities, however this means that I spend $30 a month just on my cooling system. I couldn’t guess how luxurious it was to use the cooling system. Part of myself and others wants to just leave the cooling system off to save currency, despite the fact that I guess that I would never stick to that arrangement.
