Trying to reason with HOA over Heating as well as A/C unit
It’s becoming tougher plus tougher these mornings to simply reason with other people.
Apparently, hateful defensiveness is now the default behavior when there is any sort of disagreement.
There was a time when people could entirely agree to disagree plus still come to an understanding. A recent Heating as well as A/C device experience has left myself and others wondering if reason is simply no longer a overpriced thing. That makes myself and others almost sick to our stomach to admit. However, the way the HOA has been acting over what is really a legitimately minor Heating as well as A/C device issue is a great example of the sort of behavior I’m talking about. I came condo to find a legitimately hostile note taped to our front door. It was from the HOA in our planned community. The note clearly stated that we were not in compliance when it came to the Heating as well as A/C device outside of our house. For a hour there, I had to remember what was outside our house. It was the Heating as well as A/C cupboard that houses the compressor plus the condenser for the heating plus cooling process. Well, we had run afoul of the HOA because the sun had bleached out the color of our Heating as well as A/C cabinet. And the only thing sufficient to the HOA was to upgrade the Heating as well as A/C equipment. Of course, that’s crazy as the Heating as well as A/C component has a decade or more of life left in it. But the HOA would not listen to reason at all. I provided to paint it but they said no, it had to be upgraded. So I suppose I’ll have to let the lawyer chew them up because if the HOA can’t be adequate then I’m done talking with them.
